This agreement is between you (the Owner) and Tempora Resources, Ltd (the Designer) for the design of your website. It starts on the date and time you make your down payment. 

 

1. What I’ll Do 

We’ll create a custom WordPress website for you with a Home page, About page, Contact page, Services/Product page, and your choice of a Blog, Photo Gallery, or Portfolio. We’ll do this professionally and quickly once you give us all the information we need. 

 

2. The Whole Deal 

This document is the complete agreement between us. Any past conversations or agreements don’t apply. 

 

3. Just Between Us 

This agreement is only between you and us. No one else can enforce it. 

 

4. Our Team 

We’ll use qualified people to build your website. We might change our team members if needed. 

 

5. When It’s Done 

We aim to finish your website within seven days of our first meeting, but sometimes it might take longer. 

 

6. What You Pay 

You’ll pay a $498 deposit upfront and $1,000 after your interview and before we get started the website. We might change our prices in the future. 

 

7. What You Own 

You own all the content you put on the website, any special code we create for you, and the overall design. You also own any pictures, logos, and domain names. Remember that the website uses WordPress and plugins that you don’t own. 

 

8. Follow the Rules 

You’re responsible for following all laws and paying any taxes related to the website. You can’t use the website for anything illegal. 

 

9. Copyright 

We can add a copyright notice to your website if you want. 

 

10. Our Credit 

We’ll add a small “designed by Seven Day Websites” link at the bottom of your website. 

 

11. Recording Our Talks 

We might record our conversations (like Zoom calls) to help us build your website. We’ll let you know when we’re recording, but it’s best to assume all our conversations are recorded. 

 

12. Using AI 

We might use AI tools like ChatGPT to help us design and create content for your website. This includes information from our conversations and documents you give us. 

 

13. Keeping Secrets 

We won’t share your private information. But to be safe, don’t tell us anything super secret unless you specifically say it’s confidential or a trade secret. If our agreement ends, we’ll give you back or destroy any private information we have. 

 

14. No Free Ads 

We won’t use your name or logo without your permission. We might ask you for a review or to be featured in a case study. 

 

15. Guarantee 

We offer a 30-day guarantee that your website will work correctly. We’ll fix any errors or problems during that time. But no website is perfect, so we can’t promise it will be completely bug-free. This guarantee doesn’t cover any damage you cause to the website. 

You promise that you own or have the right to use all the content you give us for the website (like pictures and text). You’ll protect us from any legal problems caused by that content. 

If you’re unhappy with the website during the 30-day guarantee and we can’t fix the problem, we’ll give you a full refund. You’ll stop using the website, and we’ll take it back. 

We don’t make any other promises about the website beyond what’s written here. 

 

16. Limited Responsibility 

We’re not responsible for any indirect damages you might have, like lost profits. 

 

17. Protection 

We’ll both protect each other from any legal claims caused by breaking this agreement. 

 

18. Legal Stuff 

This agreement follows Texas law. If we have a disagreement, we’ll try to solve it through mediation first. If that doesn’t work, we’ll go to court in Harris County, Texas. The winner can ask the loser to pay for legal fees. If any part of this agreement is invalid, the rest of it still applies.
